Christmas Gift

Something you WANT, Something you NEED, Something to WEAR, Something to READ

That is what we do for Christmas for our kiddos.

Dear Pam,

My wife and I started this tradition when our kids were young. We would get them stockings and family gifts but individually they would get 4 things:
Something you WANT
Something you NEED
Something to WEAR
Something to READ
And that’s about it. We personally take credit for the presents and give jolly ol’ Saint Nick the credit for the stockings. We work hard for what we earn and I don’t want our kids thinking Santa got them the cool presents. Uncle and Aunt Amazon did!

My wife has the kids create a wish list on Amazon. We then order the gifts and pay a little extra to wrap the presents before they get here. The reason is because of me, mostly. The last thing I want to do on Christmas Eve is stay up late to wrap presents. And be expected to wrap them well. I mean, c’mon, they are going to rip the wrapping paper off anyway. Why does it have to be pretty?

My family is happy and healthy and doing well. They miss me a little due to the busy schedule with folks needing cleaning before the holiday. But that is to be expected this time of year.

If you need a cleaning before Christmas I don’t have anymore room left in the calendar. However, if you schedule after Christmas sometime then I’ll extend a 10% off discount.

To explain better, between now and Christmas, if you need service and you schedule a cleaning after Christmas then I’ll give you 10% off. This offer is only good until Christmas. If you call me after Christmas to schedule then this promotion will have ended. It’s only valid if you call me before Christmas but schedule AFTER Christmas.

Can I say Christmas more times in a paragraph? Yowzer.

Ok, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. May your heart be full of blessings, your waistline trim and your life full of joy!

Sincerely,

Deland Moghimi
